With the ever-changing world around us, we feel fortunate to bring you another race season
here. Since we have evolved into a special events track more and more each year, we are happy
to present a solid 2026 race season.

To start off the year, we are once again bringing in the World of Outlaw Sprints on April 18th .
The much anticipated winged sprints will kick off our season with tickets going on sale February
25th .

The month of May has two favorite races on the calendar. May 2 nd is the annual Spring
Showdown featuring the USAC Sprints and the MMSA Mini-Sprints. The Memorial Weekend
Classic on Sunday, May 24 th with the Midwest Thunder 410 Sprints and the MMSA Mini-Sprints
rounds out your Memorial Day holiday plans.

The USAC Midgets will make their stop here on Saturday, June 13 th during their week-long run
of Indiana races. Along with the USAC Midgets, the Midwest Thunder 410 Sprints will be
competing to make this event a double treat for fans.

For the Late Model fans, mark your calendars for Saturday, June 27 th as the Dirtcar Late Model
Summernationals make their way to the Class Track. The Summit Modifieds will also be in action for this event.

August will feature two great returning events – Saturday, August 1 st is the always popular USAC Indiana Sprint Week finale. The 410 non-wing sprint drivers who follow these nine scheduled races all want to take home the top prize of being the 2026 USAC Indiana Sprint Week Champion. Following up this race will be the August 15 th Hoosier Sprint Nationals featuring the Midwest Thunder 410 Sprints plus the MMSA Mini-Sprints.

Labor Day Weekend would not be complete without a Sunday evening race so September 6 th
will be the Labor Day Weekend Challenge showcasing the Midwest Thunder 410 Sprints and the
MMSA Mini-Sprints. The big granddaddy of them all will be the September 19 th event – the
Haubstadt Hustler which pays $20,000 to the winner of the USAC Sprints. Don’t miss this epic
event!

Finishing up our 2026 season is the annual Harvest Cup race. The $8000 winner’s check will go
to the top driver who outlasts all others within the Midwest Thunder 410 Sprints. Also on tap
are the popular 305 RaceSaver Sprints competing in their solo event here.

As we prepare our schedule each year, we face challenges unknown to the fans and drivers but
we still want to present our best efforts and 2026 is no different. We look forward to seeing
everyone back at the track for another year of outstanding racing here at Tri-State Speedway!

TRI-STATE SPEEDWAY CAMPING RULES
  1. ARRIVAL TIME – STARTING IN 2022 – NO CAMPERS, RV’S, TENTS, ETC. ARE PERMITTED TO SET UP MORE THAN 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE RACE EVENT.
  2. PARKINGAll campers are asked to park along the North side fence row.  Please be sure to bypass the previous camping area and proceed to the North side fence row. We kindly ask that you back your RV’s, campers, etc. up to the fence row.  You will be asked to move if you choose an area of your own.  As a courtesy to other campers, we ask you not to save spots for your friends or family.  Please do not take up more space than is necessary for your motor home or camper.  We do not want to be forced to mark off each spot in the future. All personal vehicles arriving later must park in the regular spectator parking.
  3. We ask you not to have any open fires unless using a fire pit placed off the ground.  Please take your burnt charcoals/wood with you or dispose of them in appropriate containers in the trash barrels. Please do not dump them in the grass.
  4. No swimming or fishing permitted in the lake.
  5. No children should be permitted to drive golf carts, two wheelers, or side by sides in the parking lots or the adjacent roads.
  6. Please be courteous of other campers and our neighbors. No loud music, dumping of trash or trespassing on others properties.
  7. Do not assume everyone will respect your personal belongings. Please do not leave anything valuable outside your RV or camper when you are not in the area. We are not responsible for stolen or lost items.
  8. Please don’t forget the most important part of camping here – it is FREE and we want to keep it that way. Also a reminder: we are a racetrack first, not a campground, but we do try to accommodate campers.

We want to continue to provide you with a great experience but we need your help. Please make it easier for all by following these few simple rules. Have a safe and enjoyable time with us. If you need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact one of the Sheriff’s deputies here at the track.

Thank you,

Tom & Loris Helfrich
